a letter to woody's parents:
just wanted to let you know that woody was needed today in the yard. not so much for puppy stuff but as a leader, helper, being compassionate, and caring and helping out with the new kids.
to explain; we had a new puppy in the yard today. woody always took care of the newbies, treated them gentle while they wrestled round & round. but today the little pup, scout, really needed a friend like woody. everyone else kept getting tired of her, snapping and growling. Woody would have eliminated that problem at the root! scout just needed someone to play with!
i just wanted to tell you, (& you already know), that you are so lucky to have woody. his presence will always be in the yards. he is a great friend, super kind & sweet. & he always knew what was needed/what i needed in the yard!
WE MISS YOU! ENJOY YOUR NEW BACKYARD!!
